About the role:

The Department of Vision and Hearing Sciences is a leading provider of optometric and ophthalmic dispensing education in the UK. With state of the art teaching and clinical facilities and a history of innovation, we seek forward thinking individuals to help us continue our record of success by appointing a number of new part-time, teaching focussed roles in ophthalmic dispensing. 

You’ll be a General Optical Council (GOC) registered Dispensing or Contact Lens Optician with the ability to supervise undergraduate trainee dispensing opticians. You’ll have successful experience as a practising dispensing/contact lens optician. We’re especially interested to hear from applicants with specialist experience in contact lenses, visual optics or low vision, though interests in other related areas are also welcomed.
